For inside mounting, measure the window opening width and height, subtract 3/8 inch from the width for a proper fit. For outside mounting, add 2-6 inches to the width and 5-8 inches to the height to prevent light gaps on the sides. Keep in mind that there may be slight gaps on the sides due to fabric deductions.

Ensure your window depth is at least 2 and 3/4 inches for inside mounting; otherwise, opt for outside mounting. Please avoid placing the Roman shade in moist or damp environments as it is designed for indoor use only.
