TYPES OF MOUNTING: Inside mounted bamboo Roman shades require a deduction of about 3/8 inches for a proper fit within the window frame. A minimum frame depth of 2 inches is needed for secure installation of inside mounted bamboo shades. If your window frame depth is less than 2 inches, it is recommended to select an outside mount. Outside mounted bamboo shades should be ordered to fit the exact width of the area you wish to cover. Outside mounts are typically used when there isn't enough frame depth for inside mounting. All of our shades come with mounting hardware for both inside and outside mounts.

MEASURING FOR INSIDE MOUNT: Step 1 involves measuring the inside frame width at three locations - the top, middle, and bottom. Record the smallest measurement and use it as the inside width when placing your order. Step 2 requires measuring the height at three locations - left, middle, and right side. Again, record the smallest measurement and use it as the inside height when ordering.

MEASURING FOR OUTSIDE MOUNT: Step 1 consists of measuring the outside frame width and adding 3-6 inches to determine the outside mount width. Step 2 entails measuring the outside frame length and adding 4-6 inches to determine the outside mount length. This overlap is recommended to ensure proper coverage and prevent any light gaps.

Custom bamboo roller shades are available in widths ranging from 12" to 90" and lengths from 36" to 118". We will confirm the order information, and if we do not receive a reply within 48 hours, the blinds will be made according to the order request.

INSIDE MOUNT INSTRUCTIONS: Measure the internal width and height of your window and select these dimensions when placing your order. A deduction of 0.4 inches will be made on the window width during production. Ensure that your window depth is at least 2 inches, otherwise opt for an outside mount. For example, if your window is 30" wide by 40" high, the final size of the bamboo blinds will be 29.6" wide by 40" high.

OUTSIDE MOUNT INSTRUCTIONS: Measure the external width and height of your window and add 3-5 inches to the width and 5-10 inches to the height. Select the exact size of the bamboo roller shade you need for the outside mount. No deduction will be made for outside mounts. For example, if your window is 30" wide by 40" high, and there is enough space for an outside mount, the final size of the bamboo blinds will be 34" wide by 45" high.
